It costs approximately £770 a week to keep feeding the homeless in Bradford. You can help by making a donation:

  • Money
Please send cheques, payable to The Bradford Soup Run, to Unit 4, Newcastle House, Barkerend Road, Bradford, BD1 4AP [and please enclose your name and address]. We won’t send you and expensively produced glossy brochure and engraved certificate by return. But we will write and thank you. Thank you. Alternatively, you can donate by BACS transfer  When you contact your bank you will need to give them the following information to make sure we get your donation:
  • Bank: The Yorkshire Bank
    Sort Code: 05-03-33
    Account No.: 30496909

    Title: The Bradford Soup Run

Please note, if you wish to set up a Standing Order your bank should be able to do this once you have given them the above account information and the authority to carry out your wishes.

  • Sleeping Bags, Duvets, Blankets & Bedding – a regular supply is needed throughout the year, not just in winter; a trickle rather than a flood is best as we neither have the storage space nor the need for vast quantities. The ‘streetlife’ of a blanket can be as little as 3 days [when they get wet, they stay wet and are therefore useless].
  • Clothing – good quality shirts, trousers, topcoats/anoraks, woollens, socks and footwear [no jackets, ties or underwear* please] *underwear is bought new.
We do not meet many homeless women and so have little use for women’s clothing.

Hold a Fundraising event
Get in touch with us to let us know what you are planning – we may be able to offer some help or guidance.

Book a talk
We are happy to provide a speaker to tell you about our work.  See our Public Speaking page.

Thanks, but no thanks
We regret we do not accept ‘second-hand’ food [that which has previously been offered to others]. Quality has been the watchword since the Soup Run started, and whilst we don’t doubt the genuine generosity of those who have offered this in the past, it has to be understood that both we and those who receive it must have every confidence in what we offer.  We hope you understand and accept our stance in this matter.
