MORRISONS has donated hundreds of Easter eggs to homeless people in Bradford. The Bradford Soup Run has joined forces with the Bradford-based supermarket chain to boost people’s moods throughout the long Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
The Easter eggs will be handed out following a nutritious meal cooked and served by the community kitchen. Blane Turner, general manager of Morrisons Victoria, says it was pleased to supply the chocolate treat to help bring a smile to the faces of those most in need in the Bradford district during Easter.
Founded 39 years ago, The Bradford Soup Run provides food, clothing, blankets and encouragement to people who are homeless in the district. The Girlington branch of Morrisons also made a similar donation of selection boxes to the Bradford Soup Run last Christmas.
